ION 4, the most shock resistant case in our line, is constructed of an ultra-high impact resistant TPU polymer. Corners of the ION case are reinforced for a firmer grip and added protection in case of a drop. The inlaid back plate is aerospace grade carbon fiber with a matte finish that is strong and feather light. This case is quickly removable for docking your iPhone.

Fantastic case! January 31, 2013

I've got nothing but compliments on the case. Everyone asks what it is and of course I'm glad to tell! Good drop protection, too. My 4S has taken a few good drops and nothing even phases it with the case. Not to mention how easily it slides in and out of my pocket, that was the biggest selling point.

I absolutely love this case, it's easy to take on or off when docking and feels very sturdy. It's also passed the drop test when my phone fell off the table and was unscathed. Please please please design one for the iPhone 5 and I'll preorder now:-)

Incredible case, and great value for the price! October 26, 2012

I *love* this case. It blows all of the cheap Walmart/Body Glove/plastic cow-print covers right out of the water with its simple elegance and top-rate protection. I've dropped my iPhone 4S at least 20 times. The one time it was damaged was before I even owned a case for it. Every other time, this ION4 saved it beautifully, with not even a scratch to be seen *on the case itself*, let alone the phone! It doesn't add much bulk at all to the slim iPhone 4S body, and is easy to hold and access all buttons, ports and speakers. And the look of the case is great... there is majesty in simplicity, and the fact that it's so durable as well just makes this case a double-threat to any other producer of cases who is more interested in making a fast buck than producing a quality product.

And the kicker? It's practically the same financial investment! Why anyone would get anything less is beyond me. Great product, will purchase from ElementCase again!
